Double click on the sound object in Preview window (only when the sound is attached to a button) or in Timeline to open a Sound Properties Window.

 

Browse

To choose another sound/music file.

 

Play

To play the sound

 

Stop

To stop playing the sound

 

Record

To record a voice from a microphone. Please make sure your microphone is ready and turned on. Speak as soon as you click the Record button to minimize the silent at the beginning of the recorded voice.

 

Compression settings

To choose a different sound compression settings. When clicked a Sound compression window will open.

Compress sound

To enable/disable sound compression. If it is disabled, Flash Demo Builder will try to preserve the original sound quality.

 

Frequency

The sound frequency

 

Channel

The sound number of channels

 

Apply to all sound

To apply the same compression to all sounds within the presentation

 

Play mode

To change how the sound is going to be played. There are three options:

·Show play button after x seconds

A button will show up after x seconds. When the button is pressed, the sound will play.

·Play after x seconds

Play the sound after x seconds.

·Pause at start

Do not play the sound.

·Play after the end of slide (Background music)

The sound will play even after the end of the slide. This is useful as a background music which plays for a period of time.

 

 

Play duration mode

To change how long the sound will play. This option is only enable when Play mode is set to Play after x seconds or Pause at start.

 

Loop

To make the sound to be played in a loop.

 

Play slide while recording

When this is checked, as soon as you press Record button, the current slide will also starts playing in the preview box, allowing you to synchronize the recording with the slide playback.
